Large acrylic case Piñata

Sale price$ 1,633.00

The Mayan civilization practiced a blindfolded game of breaking a hanging clay pot filled with cacao, a game that can be traced back to the piñata, which originated in China and was common for New Year's celebrations. Marco Polo brought it to Italy, from where it spread to Spain and eventually to Mexico, becoming a symbol of tradition. It acquired a religious significance, with each point representing one of the seven deadly sins. Today, it is a popular and cherished element in our festivals and traditions.
