The scarab beetle, as an amulet of life and power, representing the rising sun and a symbol of resurrection in Egyptian mythology, provided protection against visible and invisible evil, granting daily strength and power. It was said that whoever carried it at death would gain the ability to resurrect and attain eternal life. The scarab beetle has remained a symbol of good luck and protection to this day.
